KAREBEAR YOGA
Move your body, ground your mind.
Karebear Yoga, KBY, is run by a passionate, authentic, and dedicated yogi, Keri.
Keri found her way to yoga in 2017 when multiple medical conditions limited her mobility and caused chronic pain. As a lifelong competitive athlete, this limitation took both a physical and an emotional toll on Keri.
However, in 2018, Keri turned to yoga as a physical and mental outlet. The initial benefits were tangible: increased flexibility, reduced inflammation, increased balance, and muscle strengthening. And even more, with routine yoga practice, Keri began to experience the connection between one’s yoga/meditation practice and reduced stress, a calmer central nervous system, and a clearer mindset. .
KBY believes in the value of routine yoga and mindfulness practice. We strive to embody the belief: we move our bodies, we ground our minds. And so, KBY’s mission is to expose youths and athletes and to the physical benefits & the mental benefits of routine yoga and meditation.
We would love to partner with your team, your groups of athletes, and/or interested persons or groups in the general public. Feel free to email us at: Karebearyoga@gmail.com.

Yoga was a foreign activity to me, and I had no idea how beneficial it was until I took a class with Keri. She worked with my high school soccer team and cultivated an environment where we could decompress to live mindfully. During the class, she went beyond helping us be aware of our bodies--it was also about bringing clarity to our minds and helping us be people aside from players. I vividly remember feeling so content after the class, and that was a feeling I hadn't experienced in a long time. I implore others to give yoga with Keri a shot, it was honestly one of the most defining experiences of my life.
